Both are Demagogues (Exploiting base desires and prejudice, not valid argument, to gain power)
Both are not just obese, but also appear to be gluttons for money, power and especially... praise.
Both appear to be egomaniacs ("obsessively egotistical or self-centered" [Oxford Dictionary]).
Both are SHAMELESS hypocrites, criticizing others for what they regularly do and promote.
Both have had a truly unbelievably high number of scandals in their administrations.
Both consistently use their hands and arms an annoyingly large amount of time when talking.
Both are "Camera Whores," dying to be in the public eye, even when it's oddly inappropriate.
Both appear not that bright, apparently gaining power by sinking to levels better people avoid.
Both , despite their positions, use profanity in their duties, even when speaking to journalists. 
Both frequently engage in juvenile, clownish, ridiculous behavior that is beneath their positions.
Both are "pathological liars," lying even when it is almost guaranteed their lies will be exposed.
Both publicly and cruelly mocked the appearance of voters who criticized them.
Both had employees attend their events, making it seem the public had more interest than it did.
Both chose spineless government flunkies who would not even think of disagreeing with them.

Both began formally limiting citizen's Civil Rights almost immediately after entering office.
Both have worked to systematically limit citizen's access to the democratic process.
Both repeatedly, blatantly and illegally abused power, encouraging employees to do the same.
Both have had employees or supporters violate the same laws they did under similar situations.
Both were recorded repeatedly arguing against legal counsel's opinion to follow the Law.
Both have employed campaign workers who were later indicted for serious crimes.
Both publicly denied paying those people with campaign funds, and documents proved they lied
Both publicly encouraged Law Enforcement to illegally intimidate/harass/assault their critics.
Both actively use Law Enforcement to hide their misconduct.
Both used government attorneys to to submit legal filings that tried to hide their misconduct.
Both used unethical attorneys to harass their critics or political rivals with frivolous law suits.
Both unethically use taxpayer money and resources for their own personal benefit.
Both were warned by Law Enforcement that they had broken the Law, and to stop, to no avail.
Both have been involved in an apparent "Quid Pro Quo" scandal, offering influence for favors.
Both publicly defended politicians who were arrested or under inditement.
Both publicly defended their supporters, who broke the Law, after Judges ruled against them.
Both of them have been personally sued for fraud/unethical business practices.
Both were deposed in cases and refused to answer questions under oath that were incriminating.
Both give preferential treatment to those who publicly and consistently praise them.
Both have high percentages of supporters with a financial interest in them staying in office.
Both were involved in real estate deals whose legality was questioned by reputable newspapers.

Incompetent?
Both spent decades claiming accomplishments that were later exposed to be mundane or failures.
Both are accused by employees, under oath, of inflating their business's/city's financial success.
Both had historically UNBELIEVABLE and UNHEARD OF events occur under only their watch:
 1.    Trump had the Capital Building besieged by Americans resulting in at least 5 Deaths!
 2.    Butts had an Inglewood resident's head CUT OFF and removed from the crime scene!
Both handled Covid TERRIBLY. Inglewood was #5 in deaths out of 88 LA Co. cities for months!
Both had types of crime go up after they took office (Trump=Hate crimes, Butts=Total crimes).

Both their administrations have been criticized and sued by Civil Rights organizations.
Both failed in their attempts to appeal losing cases to the United States Supreme Court.

Racially insensitive?
Both have publicly defended, and seek the support of, bigots.
Both were actually sued for racial discrimination.
Both have publicly facilitated Racism, Bigotry and Civil Rights violations.
Both have repeatedly coddled supporters who publicly use racist statements or violent threats.
Both were repeatedly found by Law Enforcement/Courts to have violated Civil Rights.
Both have defended police officers or others who have illegally killed African Americans.
Both told a blatantly racist joke to 100s of mourners at a... funeral! Wait, only Butts did that! 

Purveyors of Fake News?
Both exaggerate the success of their resume and their accomplishments.
Both use sycophantic/paid media outlets for propaganda/covering up crimes/attacking critics.
Both criticized reputable newspapers when the papers repeatedly publicized their misconduct.
Both of their main media propagandists were exposed as lying to the public as part of a law suit.
Both...etc., etc., etc.

Lying Jimmy T. Butts and Lying Donny J. Trump is this:
